Procedures

  1. Preferably one student per poster. Two is possible if they can clearly state which part of the project was their work.
  2. After registering for the CAARMS conference, you receive a poster abstract template in Microsoft Word. Please return this template filled out by the date of June 15th.
  3. The event of pre-CAARMS 2022 Online is held over Zoom on the date of Friday, June 24th between the hours of 11:00 am EST and 3:00 pm EST.

All poster presenters must attend and participate. You will all give Flash Presentations of your work orally in 2 minutes without any slides. During that time, please tell us:

a. Your name and the title of your poster.
b. Where you are from.
c. What school you are attending (and going to in September if different).
d. What is exciting about your poster.

Let the Zoom audience know why they should see both you and your poster live and in person at the CAARMS Poster Session next week on the afternoon of Thursday, June 30th.

  1. The event of CAARMS 2022 Onsite starts in person at Princeton University on the date of Thursday, June 30th and is held all day. The CAARMS Angela Grant Student Poster Session is held late that afternoon. You only have to provide your slides on a single roll of individual sheets of paper. You will be provided easels, pins, tape and 30” by 40” poster boards for your presentations. At the CAARMS Closing Banquet on Friday, June 1st, we announce the poster award winners.
  2. On week later, begins the post-CAARMS 2022 Online.  It is held over Zoom on the date of Friday, July 8th between the hours of 11:00 am EST and 3:00 pm EST. All the announced CAARMS 2022 poster winners are invited to give short oral presentations with slides on their work. All CAARMS attendees are welcome to come and listen to these talks.
